Educational Advocacy

We provide equity-centered advocacy services that help families navigate the complexities of special education with confidence and clarity. With a deep understanding of systemic barriers and the full continuum of services available in public education, we work to ensure every student receives appropriate support based on their individual needs and legal rights.

How the process would look:

• Records Review: We analyze evaluations, IEPs/504 plans, and other educational documents to identify strengths, gaps, consistency, appropriateness, and areas for improvement.
  

• IEP/504 Preparation: We help families understand and prepare for meetings by clarifying rights, goals, accommodations, and service options within the continuum of support. We coach families to engage with schools effectively, advocate for inclusive practices, and plan long-term planning.

• Meeting Attendance: We attend IEP/504 meetings as informed and collaborative advocates, ensuring that equitable, appropriate and individualized support remains at the center of the discussion and student needs are fully addressed
