It’s a comprehensive assessment of a student’s cognitive, academic, and emotional functioning, designed to understand learning needs and guide interventions.
Do you only work with families, or also with schools?
We work with both. BrightSteps partners with families and school districts for evaluations, consultation, and advocacy.
Can you attend IEP meetings with us?
Yes. We offer meeting preparation and can attend as advocates to support your child’s needs.
Do you offer services in Spanish?
Absolutely. We are proud to serve bilingual families and conduct assessments in both English and Spanish.
Do you accept insurance?
We are a private-pay practice. We can provide superbills for families who wish to seek reimbursement from their insurance provider.
What age groups do you serve?
We work with children, adolescents, and young adults. Services are tailored to developmental and educational needs.
